Terms of Use

Effective 2 September 2026 · version 1.3

The plain reading: you keep your footage and your edits, your licence covers your own machines, and cutting needs our server to be reachable.

01What 24Cuts is

24Cuts is a desktop application that works inside DaVinci Resolve Studio. It reads a multicam timeline you already assembled, analyses the music and the coverage, and builds a finished cut on a new timeline in the same project. It is sold as a subscription licence, billed monthly or annually.

24Cuts is currently in beta. Features, limits and interface may change while it is in beta.

02Who provides the service

24Cuts is developed and operated from Brazil ("we", "us"). The fastest way to reach us is support@24cuts.com.

By installing or using 24Cuts, or by buying a licence, you agree to these terms.

03Your licence

Your subscription gives you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use 24Cuts for as long as the subscription is active.

04Plan limits

Each plan carries limits on hours of set per month, number of cameras and number of style models. These are enforced by our server at the moment of the cut.

05The free trial

The free trial is the full application, with limits we set and publish on our site. As of this version it covers three cuts of up to 15 minutes each, on up to three cameras, with one style model that you train yourself. The Color and Zoom tools are not included.

06Payment, renewal and refunds

Purchases are processed by Creem, which acts as Merchant of Record. Creem is the seller for the transaction and is responsible for payment processing, invoicing and applicable sales taxes. Your payment details are handled by Creem; we never receive your card data.

07Your footage and your timelines are yours

You keep all rights to your media, your projects, your timelines and the cuts 24Cuts produces. We claim no ownership of them and no licence to use them.

24Cuts does not upload your video or audio. See the Privacy Policy for exactly what is transmitted.

08Style models trained on your edits

When you train a style model from timelines you edited yourself, that model is yours.

09Acceptable use

You agree not to:

10No warranty

24Cuts is provided "as is". Editing is a creative process and results vary with the material, the music and the settings. We do not warrant that the output will meet your expectations, that the service will be uninterrupted, or that it is free of defects.

Keep your own backups of your projects and media. 24Cuts creates new timelines rather than overwriting yours, but backups remain your responsibility.

11Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including lost footage, lost work, lost time, missed deadlines or lost profits.

12Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate a licence that breaches these terms, in particular key sharing or attempts to defeat the licence checks. Where the breach was not deliberate, we will contact you first.

You may stop using the service at any time by cancelling your subscription.

13Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When a change is material we will announce it by e-mail to the address on your account, or on this site, before it takes effect. Continuing to use 24Cuts after that means you accept the updated terms. Each version carries a date at the top of this page.

14Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights you have where you live.

This page is written in English. Translations, if provided, are for convenience; the English version prevails.
